My Episode of Community

Bears a familial resemblance to The Old Negro Space Program. That was purely by accident. The idea came from the writers’ room and supergenius Dan Harmon. The rewrites made me look real smart too. But I’m proud of it. See for yourself.

Congratulations Andy! I love Community and was thrilled when I saw your name appear on the screen. My (almost) 10 year old son and I were watching and I turned to him and said, “You see that name, Andy Bobrow? I know him!” Although he couldn’t care less, I was filled with pride!

Just watch your “The Old Negro Space Program” video. Quite good. I remember reading an account of that early mooon landing by NASSA in Mad Magazine back in the early 1960’s next to an article on Kennedy bombing Jackson, MS to make up for the accidential bombing of Moscow by a U.S B-52 under the command of Major Cong (Slim Pickens)—of course both were spoofs as is your video. But tucked near the back page beneath the fold of the NYT’s there was a true item about two nuclear explosions in Mississippi the first in 1964. Yep for real. Here is the link: Mississippi Nuked
